The Aventis Foundation supports all first performances at the theatre stages of Schauspiel Frankfurt
In a three-year partnership, as of the 2009/2010 season the Aventis Foundation is supporting world and local premieres at the Schauspiel Frankfurt with its new theatre director Oliver Reese and is thereby supporting young artists and new formats that address contemporary topics. This commitment is intended to make possible projects that are entering new artistic territory and developing contemporary German theater further. The Schauspiel Frankfurt is presenting young dramas, world premieres and play developments as inherent part of its program for the coming years. Consequently, the Aventis Foundation is supporting the long-term concept of promoting aspiring young talent on a professional level, offering young theater staff authors opportunities to develop further, and enabling the production and performance of works by interesting young authors for three theater seasons at the Schauspiel Frankfurt. This form of targeted promotion could permanently alter Frankfurt's status in the theater world, transforming it into a center of artistic creativity.
